2 By law, only father,mother, sister or brother, or spouse of the suspect has the legal qualification to empower Chinese lawyer for defence crime, and only Chinese lawyer has power to defence crime, foreign lawyer has no power. So,any one of above family members sign and give fingerprint on the POA(power of attorney). The template of POA in Chinese or bilingual will be given by Simon Liu or our lawyer through email or wechat, the signed POA can be sent by email enclosed scanned the signed POA, and send the original of the signed POA through Fedex,DHL, or any other int’l post to Simon Liu, taking only few days;
Important warning: if you follow another legal way to sign the POA,it will take very long time and cost highly: A)sign English POA before a notary in your country;B) the notarized POA is verified by your country government authority;C)verified by Chinese Embassy or Consulate General in your country;D)finally send the original of such legally done POA to your lawyer in China by Fedex or DHL;E)finally translate English POA into Chinese where your lawyer practices. Such standard legal procedure of empower a Chinese lawyer will take one month or more time and cost more money.
